OUR STORY

You're Not Imagining How Hard This Is.

I know, because I lived it. This is how our family got our life back and how I help yours do the same.

Every Night, All Night

Every night, all night, I went back and forth between their two rooms trying to quiet their crying. And in between, I researched. That was the rhythm of those months. Comfort a child, research, comfort the other child, research again, until the sun came up.

I had just had my third baby. A newborn and a c-section recovery and both my newborn and my two-year-old broke out in full body eczema. Not patches. Full body. Peeling. Bleeding. The kind that doesn't let a toddler, a baby, or their mother, sleep.

If you're reading this at 2am with a scratching, crying child, I remember exactly where you are. You are not overreacting. It is that bad and you are not alone in it.

EVERYTHING WE TRIED

I did what any mom would do. I asked for help.

Pediatrician

Our pediatrician told us to manage it and hope they'd grow out of it, along with two steroid prescriptions.

Hospital Eczema Program

The hospital's eczema program said the same thing and specifically warned me not to change their diet, saying it could even be harmful.

Integrative Pediatrician

I went to an integrative pediatrician, hoping we could find a different answer.

Eczema Dietician

I worked with a dietician who specialized in eczema.

TCM Practitioner

I even tried working with a TCM practitioner.

Chiropractor

I tried a chiropractor, too.

Every Cream

I tried every cream on every shelf.

It cost more money than I want to admit. And still, nothing actually changed

The Choice That Looked Negligent

I never used the steroids. I didn't want my girls dependent on them and I didn't want to risk topical steroid withdrawal once we stopped.

I want to be honest about what that choice cost me too. To people who loved us, who watched my daughters suffering and knew there was a prescription sitting unused in a drawer, it looked negligent. It looked like I was choosing stubbornness over my child's comfort. That was one of the hardest parts of this whole season, carrying a decision I believed in while feeling judged for it.

Why I Left Dentistry

By the time I was pregnant with my fourth, I couldn't go back to my old career. Not while I knew firsthand how much unnecessary suffering was happening in the name of eczema and that there was a better way most families were never told about.

I felt morally obligated to teach other families what I had learned. In today's modern world, with everything our kids are exposed to, I believe every home can be one of joy and health instead of fear and exhaustion. I had found a way to build that for my own family and I couldn't keep it to myself.

So I switched careers. I started the podcast in January 2022 and I've spent every year since coaching families through natural eczema healing, with real results.

You're Not Alone.

You're Not Imagining It.

You're not imagining it.

I stopped counting the doctors we saw before someone finally told us what was actually going on.

The Turning Point

So I kept going. Between the crying and the comforting, I started experimenting, testing what actually helped against what the internet and even some practitioners just assumed would help.

Eventually I had a protocol that worked. Topicals that supported the skin's healing instead of fighting it. And it didn't just clear their skin. It resolved my older daughter's gastrointestinal symptoms too, which told me I was finally addressing the root and not just the surface.

TO YOU, READING THIS

It can heal. Not just manage. Heal.

If your child's skin looks like my daughters' did, I need you to hear this. It can heal. Not just manage. Heal.

You don't have to spend years and thousands of dollars figuring this out the way I did. I already did that part.

Want to start with skincare first?

Rooting for you!
