I know following the nutritional protocols presented on the podcast sounds difficult, but truth is, you will not be able to reverse your kids’ eczema without following some dietary guidelines that are different than what you are exercising now. When the body is in a state of dis-ease, it requires extra TLC to bring it back into balance. BUT the birthday parties, holidays, summer socials, swim meets, playdates, grandparents and all the rest of it still happen (thankfully).
Here are some tips for navigating social situations while while still helping your little one heal:
- Communicate needs to your host if needed
- Prepare ahead of time with eczema-friendly birthday treats and snacks
- Focus your playdate around an activity instead of eating
- Host at your home as often as possible
